Getting to the Root of Poverty

Poverty is one of the biggest issues that we have yet to solve in the United States. In order to solve this problem, we must get to the root of the problem. Today, I came across this insightful answer from Jennifer Lyn Sydeski Hurd on Quora (an insightful and thought-provoking question and answer social network) that addresses the question, "Why do you think most poor people remain poor?"
